CASE STUDY: Cooling efficiency at leading South African airport

King Shaka International Airport (KSIA) is the first green-field airport in South Africa in the last 50 years. Opened in May 2010, this state-of-the-art facility strives to save energy. KSIA joined the Industrial Energy Efficiency Project, implemented by UNIDO through the NCPC-SA to work on cooling efficiency.
