This series of Technology Compendiums were produced in 2020 – 2022 under the project titled ‘Promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy in selected MSME clusters in India’, executed by UNIDO in collaboration with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), a statutory body under the Ministry of Power, Government of India.

The Compendiums serve as informative guides with the objective of accelerating the adoption of energy efficient and renewable energy technologies and practices applicable in the identified energy-intensive MSME sectors. The sector-wise technologies listed in the documents consist of details about the baseline scenario, energy efficient alternatives available, advantages, limitations and cost benefit analysis for the same. The technology wise information is also supported by relevant case studies wherein benefits related to actual implementation of these technologies has been captured.
