The industrial energy efficiency project supported by UNIDO in Egypt tackles the urgent need to optimize industrial energy consumption locally, and offers models to local industries to shift to a more sustainable energy consumption patterns. This summary proposes a set of policies that can be used to promote industrial energy efficiency.
